In my case, I created a new folder named One_drive in my home directory. Click on the + sign and choose a folder or create a new one where you’ll mount the OneDrive. Please make sure you have synced all files about your personal. It will delete all un-download files and you may need to delete other files in sync folders manually. For your concern, you could unlink your personal account in OneDrive. Completely uninstall OneDrive as you have tried. On the first run, it gives a strange looking empty interface. Reset OneDrive, then check whether OneDrive works well. Once you install it, search for OneDriver in the menu and start it from here.
